Where the advice comes from.
You know what matters. Your kids need to hear it. But knowing something and finding the moment to say it out loud are two different things. Most fathers never say these things. So this came from deciding to create those moments myself—permission to write down what I actually wanted my boys to understand, one card at a time.
The voice is the same on every card: a real dad talking honestly to a kid he's helping raise. Not instruction. Not advice. Just what he actually believes matters.
The library keeps growing. Other dads—stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, coaches—tell us what they wish someone had shared with them. The messages that resonate, the ones fathers come back to, become new cards. It's a practice that evolves because fathers keep choosing what speaks to them.
Every card is written for kids roughly seven and up, and chosen because it will still mean something twenty years from now. No trends. No jargon. No automatic advice. Just words worth holding onto.
